Made of stone, approximately three metres tall, Hassan Heshmat made the ‘Daughter of the Nile’. In February 1986, the Jollyville Mövenpick Hotel was set on fire during a major uprising by Egyptian security forces after rumours of a pay cut and extended service period. Further copies are today in the Hassan Heshmat Museum as well as in the public Kafraoui park.
