Farida Fahmy
Farida Fahmy (b. 1940), actress, dancer and co-founder (along with Mahmoud Reda) of the Reda Dance Troupe, a group that adapted Egyptian folk dances to modern dance. Heshmat attended their performances, met with both artists, and drew inspiration from them for one of his most significant artistic achievements: his small figurines of dancers.
