In 1960, Louis Bishara founded a textile printing mill, which he turned into Egypt`s first private-sector apparel factory in 1980, BTM (since 2024 Bishara Apparel Group). Louis Bishara became an admirer of Heshmat`s work and assembled a private collection. In addition, he posited statues on his factory premise in 10th of Ramadan City. This work of art stands in the entrance to his factory: "Mother and Child". (Foto: E. Gothe 2025). His eldest daughter Marie is a designer as well as vice chairwoman of the Bishara Group. She continues the sponsorship of artworks by Hassan Heshmat.
